Refund policy

We hope you’re delighted with your purchase from The Gathering Place. However, if your order isn’t what you expected, we accept returns within 14 days from the date you received your order. If you wish to get a different item, we recommend returning the original item for a refund and placing a new order for the replacement. Please note the following:

  • Return Eligibility: To be eligible for a return, the item(s) must be in its original condition—unworn, unused, with tags, and in their original packaging. All parts included must be returned, and you will need the receipt or proof of purchase.
  • Initiating a Return: To initiate a return, please contact us at info@thegatherplace.com to request approval.

If Your Return is Accepted:

  • You will receive instructions on how to return your item(s). Returns will only be accepted if authorized in advance.
  • We will issue a full refund to the original payment method(s) used (e.g. credit card, PayPal, etc.).

Damages and Issues
Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or incorrect. We will evaluate the issue and resolve it as quickly as possible.

Exceptions / Non-Returnable Items
Certain items cannot be returned, including:

  • Perishable goods (e.g., food, flowers, plants)
  • Custom products (e.g., special orders, personalized items)
  • Personal care items (e.g., beauty products)
  • Hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases

We also cannot accept returns on sale items.

Refunds
Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you of the refund approval status. If approved, we will initiate a full refund to your original payment method(s) or provide you with store credit within 10 business days. Please note that it may take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund.
